In General
Art; - Whether it is fine art, new age art, graphic design, sculpture or any other kind that deserves attention i like to view it. I have been doing graphic design and 3D design for many years and have proffessional Graphic Designers for friends having done work for small and large publications including London Times and Modern Drummer, also individual labels. I took interest in fine art many years ago and have seen many large shows.
Drumming; I have been drumming for nearly ten years and play in two bands currently. The first band is Pilot Knights, which is progressive, being a cross between Pearl Jam and A Perfect circle with bits of everything in there (- must stress; were not heavy -)We Shall be playing in Sheffield and the 21st at The Grapes and we will have many other gigs with dates shortly. We will mainly be blaying in Leeds Sheffield Liverpool and Manchester hoping to have a small tour in France / Belgium by the end of the summer . The second band is jazz based leaning towards Four tet's feel, this is about the best i can descibe it, becasue of the style and the timings we play this band produces interesting and intricate music . I play Zildjan cymbals and D/W hardware with Jimmy C's sig snare also piccolo.
Music in General; I enjoy many types of music. I believe things that stay with you in life are your knowledge, family and your passions. I believe I have found some music that will stay with me for the rest of my life ( namley classical ), but listening to music doesn't always have to be a major thing, becasue of the increased globalised cultural state we live in people are grabbing bits of listening when they can, on the way to work, on breaks ect ect, so no wonder the pop- charts are so poorly instated. I find listening
