It's not born yet, but Herdwicks are usually a sort of murky brown.

You aren't allowed to name it Cthulhu, until you learn how to spell Cthulhu.
And since you don't believe in Nighthoover, Nighthoover is a completely fine name for it as you'll have no taint of blasphemy.

There's multiple spellings of Cthulu, the one with the second h was the one "popularised" by Lovecraft. Previous to him, spelling it either way was perfectly acceptable

Just to clarify, when I say "previous" to him, I mean previous to him becoming popular in the last ten years or so. Even he spelled it differently in his writings.

I can't pronounce it either, lil.
According to That Encyclopedia, it's pronounced "Khlûl'-hloo".
Sort of a cross between Welsh and Klingon.
Divine names are supposed to be unpronouncable, anyhow - think about the Tetragrammaton.

How can you not believe in nighthoover?!: you must have seen the nighthooverly U-page, and the nighthooverly thread they are there for all to see
Whenever we had a delema over what to name one of our pets, we called it 'bob'. Its always a useful standby name for animals, in our family at least, even if it was a bit confusing when we ended up with an entire pond f full of fish called Bob, and an equal full fish tank of fish called bob, plus an ever increasing colection of Brother's stick insects, all going by the same name...

Ya know... there is a rather obvious choice.
HooToo.
Might as well get a bit of promotion out of it.

Murky Brown makes me think of a American television character that became the target of moral conservatism during the first Bush administration launching their "Family Values" campaign against unwed mothers and same sex couples and everything else they found frightening.

Curious friends want to know - have you decided what to call the lamb yet, or haven't you, Pastey?

Hootoo is clearly the name of a donkey. Terri's donkey. (Still going strong. I visited Peter this weekend.)
