The dive that Wrexham (UK) is ......
... when I first went to wrexham it was a run down town ..... that somehow manages to depress the majority of those who live nearby or frequent the town. There is a certain narrow-mindedness to the place ... the way people dress the same, talk about the same things .... there is little individuality in this place.
However somehow you learn to live with the place and, dare I say it, even like it ..... it is as if you have your own peace of slime to wallow in .... it is homely in this way.
Shining through all of this is one place which keeps me sane .... a bar called Bradies .... this is the place where I have spent the majority of my college years .... there is nothing particularly special about the place ....I feel it is like the famous bar 'Cheers' - where everyone knows your name. If ever you are in Wrexham be sure to go there .... it is next door to 'Club XS' - which you should avoid at all costs.
