Hi Cafram-

Its me PaleoDan. I just stopped by to tell you that I have worked on my intro page some more, and while it still isn't very impressive, it is improved.

BTW...
I was wondering what your favorite Monty Python skit was. I don't see why no one in this massive community ever quotes the Confuse-a-Cat sketch, the Ministry of Silly Walks sketch, or the Life of Brian.

"Always look on the bright side of life..."

oooh...snazzy page!!smiley - smiley

I LOVE the nudge nudge sketch, but the flying sheep sketch is also VERY funny...I like all the songs best ESPECIALLY the galaxy song - I sit on the bus singing them and get strange looks!!

Ahhh...yes (he thoughtfully rubs his chin), I remember the "nudge, nudge" sketch. What is almost funnier (I say *almost*) is the tie-in to that sketch. "Oh yes, Billy, do you have something to say to the camera?" "Bottom...heeheeheehee." "What was that?" "Bottom...heeheeheehee." I can't particularly remember the flying sheep sketch, although I am sure I have it somewhere in my video collection. (That was a sketch with an actual punchline, right? And _maybe_ a sheep named Bruce?)

Anyways, I love all the songs, too. You have the collection, right? ("Monty Python Sings") I hope you don't sit on the bus singing *all* of the songs. I can think of a particular song sung by Eric Idle in a particular restraunt in "The Meaning of Life" that should never be sung on a bus (or anywhere else with confined space).

Hmmm...my brother takes great pleasure in singing that song, while I don't, as I don't. (have one that is)

There's another song in that movie which can only be sung in front of certain people...but I s'pose that goes for all mp songs!

the flying sheep sketch involved a description of the sheep, half in french, and it was HILARIOUS.

*Ahem*
I have a friend (a guy in college learning to be a teacher) that would start giggling at the first line of the [Bleep] Song and wouldn't stop until the song was finished. It was quite odd.

I have a Catholic friend that absolutely love "Sacred" if that is the song you are talking about.

John Cleese's french accent is one of the funniest things that has ever been on television. (Especially the castle scene in the Holy Grail.) His accents are also halarious in A Fish Called Wanda.
