I just wanted to stop in and give you this octopus I didn't need any longer. He's a smart one ... he has a doctorate degree in molecular biology, and boy is his handwriting terrible.

Hark! The Harold octopus. That's a perfect name for him, Cafram. 
Please don't be concerned about foisting over your kingdom for him, as I just found him lying around the apartment. There's no end of things I find growing in the corners when I clean. 
Harold likes to eat lobster and crab. They're his favorites. If that seems a bit too expensive for a college student's budget, you might sneak him a peanut butter sandwich *shaped* like a lobster (you're artistic, aren't you?). He won't notice the difference. His taste-buds haven't been the same since his little accident with the plastic crab. Please don't mention it to him. He's sensitive.
His hobbies include reading classic novels and sky diving ... and yes, he is octidextrious. Not only can he write with all eight arms at once, but he can also polish silverware with all eight arms at once. The difficulty is persuading your guests to eat with utensils that have been handled by a person of his particular invertebrate heritage. Some people consider octopi to be social outcasts. Again, don't tell him about this, because he's quite self-conscious.
Let me know how he's getting on. I'm fond of the little b*****d.

I know what you mean about finding strange things when you clean! I make sure I rarely clean so that I'm really surpirsed by what I find
Peanut butter lobsters sounds like a perfect idea - I'm a peanut butter addict myself, so I'll waste no time in getting him addicted.
He sounds like the perfect climbing partener for me - many a time have I been stuck halfway up a cliff going 'I wish I had another arm!'
