Hello! You've got a 360 skin - hooray...look forward to having you around. Please tell me what nerds are! A kind of chocolate?
It's 11 years since I was in Australia - but it was one of the best trips of my life. I even got asked to take part in a beauty parade in Cooktown even though I was over 30 and overweight!

Hi Maggy
Nerds are a small candy thing made by Wonka (as in Willy ) - they are basically pure compacted sugar.
Where abouts were you in Australia? Did you come just for a holiday? A beauty parade in Cooktown?! That would have been great!

I came because my husband had died and I needed to run away from the 'real world'.
Bit of a heavy answer! I had some friends who were on a year's Sabbatical travelling around Cape Tribulation; another friend in Sydney and a friend of my husband's in Freemantle. Added to that lot, I went to Ayers Rock.
Apart from the Aussies themselves, it was great just to be a girl wandering around without all the stuff hanging over me.
And I received the two best chat-up lines on the planet while I was out there!
'D'you want to come out to my shrimp boat? It's got a shower!'
And: 'Me and my mates at the bar have got a bet on about you. I bet you can't be as mean as you look!'
I had dinner with the second guy!

Fary nuff - it's as good a reason as any!
Wow...Cape Trib's meant to be gorgeous! Sydney...well, I'm from Melbourne, so I hate the place ...Freemantle...again - WA is nasty
...Uluru is really nice though. Did you get to the Olgas or anything?
Yeha, it'd be great to be able to travel alone - *one day* I will get there! Eventually...and I'll probably keep on syaing it and never actually do anything about it.
Certainly very Australian chat-ups ...I've never heard anything that bad though! One of the guys on our current brainless 'Big Brother' said that all he wants "is a productive farm....and decent rainfall."
