Hey Pete
sorry I've been away for so long - had exams and then a play for a week (followed by numerous after parties ), then went on holidays with my mum and brother...been an exhausting few weeks!
How's things? What prompted the name change?!
I've gotta run - have to eat!
Hope things're good

Hey Caf!
Things are good.. I'm a bit tired but I'm about to throw my self back in bed after I finish with my messages.. My play actually starts up next week.. How was yours? What'd you do?
Sounds like you've been quite busy, lady.. And afterparties are a beautiful, beautiful thing..
The name change: That's all kind of UH's fault.. One day, in a burst of hangover, he decided to call me "Peter" after Peter Gabriel, being that I knew his real name and he didn't know mine. I went with it, and then it kind of grew on me and my weird sense of humor..
Enjoy your food, chica!

What play're you doing? What're you doing for it?
I was doing makeup...it's the Gang Show, which is an annual Scout play - dodgy dodgy performances but heaps of fun - I'm usually in it (was playing the part of my brother's wife last year!) but I didn't have time this time round, so I did makeup instead - I was dreading it, cos I'm really not a makeup type of girl, but it was heaps of fun! Got to play with everyone still, and the parties were great...
hmm...should go walk the dogs - every time we take them to the kennels they put on heaps of weight, and since it's actually a sunny day here (in winter! who would've thought!)....I should probably get out of my pyamas too...it is 3pm, after all
*loving holiday laziness*
Hello!
Pete *not quite dead yet* Posted Jul 8, 2002
The Lesson by Eugene Ionesco. My first rehearsal is the 18th. I really should get some preparation done.. I'm the mini stage manager for this one act, technically the ASM but with more responsibility than usual.
Scout? Dodgy performances are the best!! And backstage work is actually a lot more fun than I realised until I did it last semester.. I would like to do makeup sometime but can't really do it at the college until I've taken the makeup class.. (My mum was a Jafra lady, I think I know a bit about makeup.. but they just won't believe me!
)
Summer holiday laziness is the best! I spent all day sleeping after calling off of work..
Off to shower before bed.. Ta!

Nah, you don't need preparation! Stage managers should just walk on and know what's happening
Scout - as in Boy Scout...but it's different here - lots of fun, lots of drinking, no helping old ladies across the road, no dib dib dib crap. They just kind of handed us some sponges and pallets and let us have fun - there were so many weird and wonderful witches in our show! It was very panto...lots of fun

how's that preparation going then? Coming along nicely?
Hello!
Pete *not quite dead yet* Posted Jul 16, 2002
It's going okay.. I have my first production meeting tomorrow.. Today was pretty funny, I had my actors calling me up right after I arrived home and asking if we had rehearsal tonight..
I'm working on my rehearsal report form as I type.. Hopefully Word will listen to me and I can get it done..
Life is soon to begin in earnest.
So how's things with you??

Good to see that actors are the same everywhere
*looks sternly at Word* mine never listens to me, especially when I have essays due
Things are good...on holidays still, up to the stage where I've run out of things to do though - a friend from Korea is arriving tomorrow though, which should make things interesting again going to get up at 5:30 to get into the city in time to meet her bus though
Hello!
Pete *not quite dead yet* Posted Jul 16, 2002
Eek! 530? That's cool that she's coming to visit you though.. Bus???
LOL that's the best part though, when you run out of things to do..
Mine keeps freezing.. Dang old computer.. :P
And yes.. actors *are* the same everywhere.. Although these ones seem to be rather sweet..

Hello!

Yeah...changed my mind about the whole 530 thing - it's just gone 1am and I've spent most of the evening calming my mum down and trying to convince her she's not evil and horrid, so there's no way I'll be up in time to catch the train! SHe's been in Sydney about a week, catching the bus from there (not Korea )
I've started being clean and creative. This is what holidays do to me. The pantry (formerly ant-infested) is spotless, and I made a pair of jeans into flares. Well, one leg, anyway - still working on the other one I want to go back to uni!
Threaten the computer with a baseball bat
Sweet as in thin neat men who talk with a lisp? We have many of them - one 70-something guy we call Aunty Allen
Hello!
Pete *not quite dead yet* Posted Jul 17, 2002
Well that's good, you need your sleep ya know
Bus from Korea.. Only if it's the Knight Bus or something..
Auw, sorry your mum isn't feeling the greatest self-esteem right now..
Creativity is always good! Especially with clothes.. And I have to do the same thing with my bed (I dont' sleep at home much
) I've got spiders.
Hey, uni starts pretty quick hon, only like a month left!!
Actually I'm getting a new one in about two weeks, hopefully! *cheers loudly*
*giggle* Sweet as in calling me frantically wondering if we have rehearsal when we don't even adn then saying "I guess we just wanted an excuse to talk to you.." Auw..

I live at uni most of the time, so I come home and my room is covered in cobwebs ....ugh.
Uni starts on monday for me! I'm in winter holidays, which is only a month or so.
A new computer?! Nice. We just got one at home, and I got the dodgy old one to take to uni to play music on
That is sweet ...I went up and did some set painting the other day - I was the only person there under 40, so I had lots of fun picking on the old people
Cheeky? me? Never
Hello!
Pete *not quite dead yet* Posted Jul 22, 2002
Eek, s! That would definitely creep me out.. O' course, when I move out my room's going to get taken by my little brother, so I won't have to worry too much about that..
Eek! So tomorrow? *sympathy* V. sorry, chica!
Hey, any computer that runs = good computer.. Mine's been broken for about 6 mos. :P
Right on!! It's always fun to pick on your elders.. I told my mom she's so old she not only knows the song from the Monkees (or some such, I can't remember) but she forgets half of it too.
Oh, no, never!!
Sorry about the reply time.. I'm in show. :P

When I moved out my room got taken by my little brother and I got his smaller room...it's weird. For the first few times that I was home I kept walking into the wrong room!!
Yeah - I've only got two days of classes each week though, which is very nice! My friend from Korea's over, so we took her on a bit of a road trip thiw week, which was great fun! Next week I'm going skiing!
How's your show going? I went to see my brother in West Sde Story when it opened last night - it was actually pretty good! We weren't expecting much, cos they've only *just* got it together, but apart from a few things (WHY didn't all the characters have american accents?! ) it was great!
My reply time is going to go down immensly from now on - at uni so I get to a computer about once a week.
Hello!
Pete *not quite dead yet* Posted Jul 28, 2002
Oops!
Awesome! I hope you have fun skiing
And classes 2 days/week means 5 days/week open for studying etc.
The show's going okay.. I'm starting to get irritated with how much time it's taking up -- I have rehearsals on Fridays, which are supposed to be Chad's and my day together.. :P Oh well, sacrifices for the Art. No major mishaps yet, other than the lead's grandmother passed on and so she's got to miss quite a few rehearsals (i'm not as unfeeling as that sounds, but this is how it looks from a planning point of view
)
West Side Story without American accents, huh? Innnnteresting... Sounds like fun!!
Auw, less Cafram.. Ah well, I hope you're having fun!!
