Sorry!
I've been trying to catch up since I got back...spent the last 4 days at the beach and have been swamped in emails and blog again
How've you been? I'll probably get around to emails tomorrow...got an inbox full of the bloody things which need to be answered - yours is there somewhere
So... you're back

I KNEW YOU'D COME!!
You know what they say, If you love something set it free,
If it comes back to you it's yours,
If it doesn't, harrass it till it panics and gives in....
Well it's been ages, and I 've done everything up to date, so I guess I await further orders.
Hope you are well and have found time to attend to some of the more pressing post travel personal hygiene issues. Unfortunately, you may suffer some culture shock becaus ewe have very few restaurants with toilet paper holders on the table, but I guess you do live in Victoria.
Thanks for writing mate, and email me with some more Korean war stories. Glad you're back...
NFAF (do you like my new mascot, it's quite a good likeness)

Yes, I have showered since I got home. Many times. I even went to the pool (for that ultra-clorinated, burn-your-eyeballs-out shower )
I'm going out for Korean food on Wednesday night, catching up with my drinking buddies - should be good!
Sorry I haven't got round to the email yet - my room is a bombsite which has to be reconstructed (or should that be deconstructed??) before I move out on Sunday...I will get there, I promise!
Oh, and the bears a striking resemblance to you...did you have a word in the artist's ear?!
So... you're back

Ahhh the old Chlorine shower; that stuffr works better than envirochem. I have found the whole going for a body surf in rough surf method good for that 'been travelling rough and come home on a long plane trip and now I smell like sweat, mould and airplane food' feeling. A good blasting with sand and salt is always good, and saved you money on chemical peels and tooth polishing.
I've actually had a bit of good (as far as I can tell anyway) Korean food over the last little while just by coincidence, and it's pretty good, especially with some of the growing collection of fine Asian beers.
No serious hassles on the emails (I'm being such a pain), I'm just interested to hear about your adventure and about some of the moments of extreme stress/panic/hilarity/gluttony/embarrasment which had to have happened in such a situation.
I think you will love the outdoor ed course, I used to climb and paddle with a lot of people who have done it up here and it seemed like they had a ball. I envy you.
I did indeed have a word on the artists ear... and sent a baby photo.
F-reek out.

Mmm...sweat mould and airplane food...the only improvement is when you throw up on the airplane and then have the nasty vomit taste in your mouth all the way home
We were so late for the plane that they couldn't sit together - me and another guy managed to get a lady to swap seats, and he spent the whole flight trying to get me to eat (I'd been chucking for the last 24 hours )...I managed half a bread roll before chucking again
Korean food, as long as you avoid the kimch'i, is awesome. And in Korea it's cheap...like, $5 for dinner. One day we fed 5 people for 9000 won, which is about $13. Don't think we'll be getting the same kind of value here....we can but try
Yeah, outdoor ed will be good (positive thinking here ) it's just a bit of a struggle to have to leave *everything* behind - I seriously won't be able to get home for at least 2 months cos we're out camping etc every weekend, so it's pretty much goodbye to this life and hello to a new one. Which could be good....thank God for the internet, at any rate!

Oh I forgot the old vomit in the mouth taste...
NIIIIICE... I wish I'd been around to administer the old wet face washer on the forehead and reassuring squeeze on the shoulder. I'm a good servant when people are feeling a bit crook...
I guess your body just said ENOUGH!
Oh well, at the risk of sounding repetitive, nice to hear your voice.
And just in case you ever needed some light relief, I've emailed you some freaky stuff.
R-reek out

Yeah, my friend was really good - dunked the airplane towel in a cup of water (wet face washer ) and took my bag of vomit to the bin for me
...poor guy...it can't be nice to have someone spew next to you!
Yahoo doesn't like me, so whatever you emailed probably won't arrive in my inbox for another 5 hours.
Have to go. Must make progress before mum gets home. Have to have to have to. God I hate cleaning my room!
