Just passing, thought I would say Hi, agree that a Red uniform is good enough reason to do a job, possibly..

...even when the job entails standing on a street corner wearing a vest (yes, the red one
) that says "Fast Fun and Free"...?!
You need to ask me whether pigs can fly or not?! Of course they can!! They live on troical islands and float about looking for tatsy things to eat - they are rarely succesful and so gnaw on their own feet...hence the reason they fly

an unanswered conversation - how rude of me! I'm so sorry! Can you ever forgive me?
My wearing of odd socks stemmed from laziness and has become a necessity - my friends expect it of me and are disappointed when I don't deliver. I try to make it as obvious as possible - today, for examle, I have one black sock with sheep on it, and a white sock with ducks.

My socks are typically shades of black/gray, unless it is winter when they are often also red.
So, although they often appear the same colour; blackish, they are most often odd; different socks; hence one may be ankle length, whilst the other comes almost to the top of my calf muscle I sometimes have more fun in the winter with one (bright) red warm sock and one black sock of a a simular ilk

ooh - different length or different tightness socks are the most annoying thing in the world - I hate having one sock that keeps falling down and the other that clings onto my leg like there's no tomorrow...

yes very annoying
I might do my once every-few years sock replacement shop soon, go thorugh and throw out all those odd socks and buy another eleven or so pairs of identical socks, which will then last me aoter few years before it needs doing again,
goodnight (I wil probably have sock-based dreams or nightmares now!)

Socks last you years? Wow...mine last months...if that! I'm impressed!

I make them last years although I would imagine some people would hardly describe the majority of my socks as being in good condition; I can't see the point of replacing something if it is still working, a kind of common-sence environmentalism to prevent the wasteful consumerism that is using up all the earth's valuble resources; If it ain't broken don't fix it?
And, holes in socks are great in the summer for extra ventilation beside which I buy gallons of socks at a time so each pair getts only a little worn out but all worn out euqally?
(All socks are equal but some socks are more equal than others?)
LUNCH TIME!

I'me traveling back to my Dads at the beginning of September for a couple of weeks, I will buy some new socks then. Probably quite sad, but I know a shop there that sells the hard waering 100% cotton socks I like, they are not cheap but are very comfy as well as lasting a long while; they are a kind of hikeing sock, but cotton not wool
actually now I ocme to think of it I have several pairs of bright red wollen hikeing socks but I never seem to wear them now.
I will also buy some more black, cotton thin summer type socks as they are good for general use, even if they do wear out quickly on my feet. My Dads socks are awful he is a Gardener self employed as a living, his feet are pretty nasty too hmmmm feet
Hmmmmm toes
Hmmmm shoelaces
Hmmmm socks
Hmmmmm nice feet Hmmmm
