haven't played chess for a long time, funny in this age of communication we spend less time together and more time trying to communicate on phones computers and such.

yes,I guess it has good points and bad, we can now talk to people all over world,but may not even know the people next door's name, but being part of global village, as I feel we are on places like this site is wonderful experience.

yeah I quite agree, its nice to be able to talk to people who share the same interests expspecially if your interest isn't that commen, and of couse talking like ti=his gives you a lot more chance to say what you think, and how you want to and give you more time to think about what you say, good isn't it

Hi, Sorry it took so long for me to reply. I had been experiencing a few problems accessing my h2 account, think I have got it sorted now though .
Yes, I did manage to get hold of some Doctor who tapes for Pete (hubby) He also enjoyed the 12 hr's of the Doctor Who and the darleks on UK gold, that were screened on bank Holiday Monday May 5th. We were actually away at the time but the video timer was set on LP and I got 8 hr's of it before tape ran out. The Darleks and Cybermen are his favourite's. Fancy you remembering after all this time! for asking. Jofrog

yeah I saw some of the dalek day on UKGold, there's another dalek on the 26th may, showing another 5 dalek stories. great stuff.
