I can see your point in some ways, but the article does stick to stereotypes, I'm bisexual, and a guy and I'm all for the ihavefeelingsforyou bit, I know plenty of other guys who are also hopeless romantics, as well as plenty of girls who are "gagging for it" and not all gay men are just in it for sex, most of the gay guys I know live in the belief they will one day find Mr Right and settle down, I don't know anyone who's found him yet, but if you have please send me his address.
So, not all of us are sex mad, well okay we are, but only to the extent which uncontrollable levels of testosterone allow.

I have to agree. Most of the gay men I know are in monogamous or stable polyamourous relationships and the majority are unashamed romantics.
This may, though, have something to do with age - being in my 30s and having friends ranging from their late 20s to 50s, what I'm seeing socially may be very different to what's happening with people in their early-mid 20s.
It may also have something to do with the people I hang around with. Most are not keen on "the scene", and tend to think of nightclubs as fun places to visit once in a while, preferring to socialise by going to films or concerts as groups and then trotting off to a decent restaurant.
Maybe we're old and set our my ways
