Thanks for the support, FS. I didn't really think that that particular forum was at all representative of h2g2, having looked at many other homepages and forums.
BTW, the mug is a lower-case "c", the weird split vertical line above "forward-slash" [next to "Z"], an underscore then another weird split vertical line thing.

I could tell by your Homepage, that you understand "normal" H2G2. I just got very worried that any other new Researcher who stumbled in there would get a very bad impression. I was a tad upset about it myself!

I'M used to this being a very informative and friendly place. That's why I'm an ACE. I want others to share in the experience.

I've never found a place like this on the web.....it's different. I've actually personally met several Researchers, and will be meeting even more(hopefully) from the Euopean continent soon!

Never have I seen such animosity among Researchers! It would have been nice if folks had left the two of them to fight their own battles!

Visit often, Ben....and be aware......I do not get offended...by anything in here!

I do visit often (it's wonderful having a direct connection thingy at uni), and I also NEVER take offence at anything on the web (some nasty Far-Right sites excepted), so I suppose everything's better now!
