Hi, thanks for a sympathetic edit on http://www.h2g2.com/A490349 (I'm sorry, I haven't a clue what it's about). Just two minor details:
- the line in "the lion sleeps tonight" - I'm really very sure it should be "wimoweh" - this was the original name of the tune, as sung by (I think) Gentleman Jim Reeves, and I've got it on the sleeve notes here
- the original comment about Hardie's voice was genuine - it is absolutely atrocious and he knows it. Could you either reinstate the joke, or remove the whole sentence please? It looks like a non sequitur as is.
Call me a pedant if you like*. Cheers, JzG
*Actually I'd rather you spontaneously decided that I'm not one, so restrained yourself, but I'm experienced enough to realise that that is slightly less likely than Jeremy Hardie maintaining the same key for an entire bar of a song.

Hi,
The changes were made by the h2g2 editors not myself... I had left those in. This seems to happen quite often... I'll let them know (when I get home and have access to my email).
Excellent article by the way, I haven't listened to the programme for a long time but used to regularly enjoy it with my father. (and Just a Minute, of course, which was my favourite radio programme of all time). Trouble is, nowadays I spend my leisure time on the internet...!
