Greetings and Congratulations, Mr. Prez!
Sounds like things are going pretty good for you. I'm glad to hear it and I look forward to seeing what comes about from your being prez.
Here's a thought .... Perhaps you could start something new for yourself and the presidents that come after you. In the Guide, the President of the Galaxy traditionally wore an Orange Sash. Perhaps presidents of H2G2 could have a Presidential Sash (not necessarily Orange, but something appropriate to H2G2) that would appear in the same area as the Sub-Editors (ACEs, Editors, etc.) badges on their Researcher page? Perhaps the Vice-prez could have something similar. Anyway, just a thought.
Have a pleasant continued existance, and have fun in your new position.

Hi Phoenix!
The orange sash thing sounds like a good idea. I might nick some ideas from the books sometime.
However the subs/ACEs/Gurus/etc badges are an official h2g2 thing while the presidential thing is a fun thing dreamt up by somebody or other. It doesn't mean that I have any real power over h2g2 itself. I do know some of the h2g2 people but I'm pretty sure that they want to keep the official stuff fairly serious and not get it too tangled up with the fantasy land of us h2g2 researchers
Having said that I hope to encourage change in h2g2; if anybody has good suggestions then I will campaign to the h2g2 offices to make the changes. But I don't want to overuse that
Meanwhile I'll be hanging around and starting virtual parties...
