When I first joined h2g2 my nickname was simply "E Vibenstein". It was simple, it did the job.
When I became an ACE my nickname became "Dr E Vibenstein, ACE" because it seemed vaguely amusing, like the ACE was some kind of qualification a doctor might have.
Now I'm also a Guru, as well as being Muse of Anagrams and Minister of Hugs, the joke doesn't work so well. Also, the "Dr" prefix makes everyone assume that I'm a doctor of medicine, which (as I have to explain up to 17 times a day) I'm not.
So: should I drop the "Dr" bit? Has it outstayed its welcome? Is it, to quote the late M. Python, no fun anymore? Or what?

Can't really imagine you without the Dr part... If i were you i'd be inclined to go for
Dr E Vibenstein, ACE, Guru
& leave it at that...
B/c you're supposed to put guru in your title as you are one...

Me could take out the T. in my name... but then me wouldn't be the same anymore... nor would you if you took out Dr...
Don't worry so much... just put a place on your homepage for all your titles... then when people visit you... they will know what you can do for them...
