I can't help but be intrigued by what that post was, too. EV looked a bit confused in his response. smiley - yikes

Oh, that... some friend of humanity was posting huge chunks of HTML code in seemingly random places. It might have been some form of art terrorism, or he might just be a twat. smiley - ok

And the watermelon comes from here: A2121328

Ooh, very nice, EV. I get the feeling I should really know more about the Bonzo's than I do (ditto The Goons). I'd not really heard of Viv Stanshaw until he died back in '95 (I think) when the media briefly covered his life story. I should probably get more aquainted with his stuff.

The more observant of you may have noticed vintage footage of the Bonzos on tonight's edition of Top Of The Pops 2, performing "I'm The Urban Spaceman". Neil Innes sang the song, accompanying himself on the acoustic guitar, Viv Stanshall played the recorder (with his nose for part of the song), "Legs" Larry Smith drummed and struggled to keep a straight face, while various other Bonzos stood around in the background; one playing a tuba, one dressed as a policeman, and one with his face and hands inserted through appropriate holes cut in the Mona Lisa. To conclude the performance, Stanshall produced a length of hosepipe and played the final notes through it, whirling the other end around his head and almost decapitating "Legs" Larry Smith and the policeman in the process.

I think that tells you just about everything you need to know. smiley - laugh
