Hi Ev!
I think I'm a little late but here have a hug and some Fruit Pastilles from me!
Oh and I'd also like to mention that because of the lyric at the end of your name I'm now being forced to sit through entire Human league albums in the vague attempt to get the song out of my head!

*continues to mutter about 80's music driving her to insanity now*
I'm glad, you can even have the black ones

'80s music driving you to insanity? You say that like it's a bad thing. Actually, if you don't mind, I'd rather just have the red and orange ones.

Tinkerbell *tumbleweed* Posted Aug 8, 2002
Really? But the black ones are the best? aaah well
*hands over all the red and manky orange ones and happily munches on the calorie free black ones*
Well see 80's music is normally fun and bouncey but if you have the same couple of lines of a Human league song going oevr and over in your head it becoems mildly irritating..

*munches happily on the delicious red and orange ones*
It's George Michael's fault. He went and sampled the Human League track for his new single and now I'm stuck with it.

*carefully picks out the icky Fruit Pastilles form the packs, suspects he probably eats the horrid green ones too so passes him them as well*
Hum, it's not often that you could attribute good music to George Michael... I haven't heard that though, maybe I'm saved! Oooooh I heard boy george's new single, thats fun

Sorry DoctorG, you seem to be in the wrong room. It's '80s Revivalists in here. Still, have a Fruit Pastille.
*passes the green Fruit Pastilles to DG as he doesn't like them but is too polite to say so*

Oh no see that works in your favour! I hate the green ones but was giving them to you as you like the orange ones which are minging so I kinda assumed you'd like yellow and green oens too
Now Enola Gay, there was a record.. oooh and Two Tribes, I nearly bought the original LP of that yesterday only then I remembered I have nothing to play it on..

I have the original LP. And nothing to play it on. Which is why I had to buy the CD too.
The yellow ones I can force down, if you're offering...

But if you could just see the beauty,
These things I could never describe,
Pleasures and wayward distraction,
Is this my wonderful prize?
Isolation,
Isolation... (and so on)

Right.
*goes off to find Paul Young's version of "Love Will Tear Us Apart"*
This should keep everyone equally happy.

Bah
Er, how about...
The yard is nothing but a fence
The sun just hurts my eyes
Somewhere, it should be time for penitence
Gardening at night is never where
Gardening at night (and so on, doodoo doo doo...)
That's from memory, and the delivery of the lyrics isn't the clearest, so it's probably wrong too. And probably the wrong sort of 80s music

Tinkerbell *tumbleweed* Posted Aug 8, 2002
Ummm....... cheery bounceyness? You've lost me now...
Ooooooooh I could do stand and deliver? It's not quite the same era but what a great song!
*smears mascara down her cheeks and puts on a hat ready to start dancing*

I remember redwood trees
bumper cars and wolverines
the ocean's trident submarines
I remember all these things
Fruit Pastilles, though? Nahh.
