Being a Magician

Being a Magician is actually quite simple. You first tell everyone that you are a Magician, get them to believe it, and then go about doing Magical things. Nothing could be simpler.
The only small problem is that there are no existing records of any Magical Things to do, consequently no one could ever, possibly or in any way, believe that you are a Magician. Once you have conquered this small obstacle, however, the path of the Magician is fun, interesting and potentially lucrative.
Human beings love to believe the impossible, and are very likely to believe almost anything, at least in small numbers, so that Magicians have always done well throughout History. There are a number of rules for Magicians, one of which is well documented, "People are Stupid". All of the rules require explanation, for example this one, If one has a group of individuals, the average intelligence of the group in any action, will tend toward the intelligence of the member possessing the least amount of this resource. It follows that, in any group of sufficient size, at least one member will be, to use the American Phrase, "Dumber than Dirt". This, in turn, will force the intelligence of the entire group toward the level of potting soil, which gives rise to the above mentioned rule.
In My Blog, http://theancientmagician.blogspot.com/" >http://theancientmagician.blogspot.com/ I discuss Magic in greater detail, as if anyone would want to know, or would care. I have degrees, but they're not important, and a vast amount of experience in Computers, also not important. I'm looking forward to being the head of the ancient and wise order of Ancient Magicians, as soon as that organization exists, (if ever)and welcome your comments, so long as they do not imvolve my being certified insane and committed to an institution.
