Concrete flippers

OK. Rule number one for any private eye: keep a journal. When the cops fish you out of the sea, first thing they wanna know is – who put the concrete flipper on the dolphin? And first place they’re gonna look for the answer is – your journal. You see, a detective’s journal is like his best friend ‘cept it never wants to borrow money. Your journal’s the place where you record the names of all the bad guys. (Yea, you’re right – it’s gonna be one big fat book by the time you hang up your toothpick.)

So listen to the words of an old pro here: Keep your journal up to date! It won’t ever save your life but it’ll sure shorten the lifespan of your killer…

And if you’re a cop reading this after the untimely demise of yours truly, and you’re looking for fish to fry – try putting the squeeze on these fellas… They got plenty of reason to put the mark on Jack Shannon.

The Turbot Brothers. (Pearl extortion, lemon hoarding.)

Larry the Clam (hitman for the Shoal)

King Prawn Pete (illegal dealing at Credit Mayonnaise)

Don’t waste time with the porpoise. Like I always say – the kid knows nothing.
