This mineral holds the soft energy of loving kindness that helps to alleviate problems of the heart and mind. Polished Rose Quartz is especially healing to stroke or touch and appreciated more by the elderly than children.

A piece of cold rose quartz placed in the aura half a centimetre above a burn (which has previously been treated with cold water) can speed up the natural healing processes.

A piece of warmed rose quartz placed on aching joints and muscles for five minutes or so is extremely therapeutic and causes contentment, especially amongst elderly people.

Meditating on the flame inside a carved piece of rough, un-tumbled rose quartz reduces tension and eases the chattering mind after a hard day at the call centre or office.

Contemporary uses of Rose Quartz
….helps to balance emotions….clears stored anger, resentment, fear and jealousy 3
