I don't understand that NR guys problem, he/she never says anything about the programme itself, but comes on week after week complaining about people who do, saying that they shouldn't be watching it.

Makes you wonder who the *real* saddo is.
I know what you mean about the 70s/80s thing - I fell victim to most of the fashion trends at the time - thank god I don't have many photos (I chucked most of them out actually!). Never went for the 'big hair' thing, though - I seem have a bit of an aversion to hairdressers, plus it seems like a complete waste of money. People seem to dress a lot better now - but I don't really like all the 'designer-label' stuff.

I was watching Scarface last night (made about 1982) and it had Mary Elizabeth-Mastrantonio in it. I've never thought she was a stunner, but she looked awful in this with a huge frizzy haircut.
A lot of actresses in their youth are unnaturally skinny and look a hell of a lot better when ther fill out to a normal size when older - Twiggy is a classic example. She wasn't bad when I last saw her, a while ago now but she must have been pushing 50.

I used to be really skinny and always wanted to be a model (just to shove it in the face of my school’friends’, I suppose!). Can you believe I was turned away for being too fat – I think I was probably about 9 stone at the time (and 5’8”) – they were probably making an excuse, but they *did* tell me to come back again if I could lose some more weight! I gave up trying to lose more weight, so I ditched that idea. Funnily enough, just after that was the first time I actually put quite a lot of weight *on* - that’s what crash-dieting does for you!
I had another look at the ‘Thoughts, what are they?’ thread – yes, the telepathy thing didn’t really get too far, did it? I had to laugh when I saw the person who made the ‘Ooooo – get you’ comment, was the same person who had been earwigging the other day – was probably keeping tabs on you too!

I never saw the fascination with really skinny women, in fact I'm not sure who does, apart from fashion designers and would-be models, no men or women I know think they are anything other than freaks.
What would you do with a woman like that (by "you", I mean "me" and by "do", I mean sexually speaking)? I'd be frightened of snapping them.
I always remember some study a group of anthropologists did. They went to some South American tribe and showed them pictures of supermodels and asked them their opinion. One was: "She looks as if she's had diarrhea and will probably die soon."

Just as well I wasn't *that* skinny then - wouldn't have wanted anyone thinking I was some kind of freak! I could never have done it anyway - I would never have been able to keep a straight face, plus I *hate* having my photo taken, which is not exactly ideal! My other career aspiration was to be a long-distance lorry driver - bit of a difference, eh? - although I really only used to say it to shock people.

Using a nickname of "arachnohobe" eh?
Definitly a breach of the rules there.

Amazing how he keeps telling everybody to "get a life", the sheer effort he's taken to sign up for all these accounts, keep track of them, log in/log out as appropriate, remember who he is at any one time etc. etc. must mean his life is extremely empty indeed.
Either that or he is emotionally disturbed, what other sad individual get's pleasure out of such a pathetic exercise.
P.S. I hope you are reading this WAV, you sad little man.

I can't understand why only the name only changed on one thread - it usually filters through to all of them?
