I'M BACK!!

Well ..... finally bit the bullet and got a much needed new computer - Baby Mk3 - and it flies!!!!! Hopefully I will now be a more regular contributor to this place - and hasn't it grown (bigger and better) in my absence. I am going to have fun checking up on all my old contacts - YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED!!!!

I have been absent over the last 2-3 weeks due to HORRIBLE computer problems - eventually had to install a new hard drive (8 gigs!!- can remember the days when I got a new 40mb disk and wondered how I would ever fill it) but lost everything from the old one. It's taken me ages to rebuild but I am getting there. Am now using IE - it seems a little faster but we'll see what happens. It will take me a while to get back into this thing again too ..... so if you are reading this, bear with me. IE doesn't seem to read the fonts in the same way as Netscape - the page looks different - may have to experiment with different fonts - that gives me something to work on anyway.
Wonder if I've been missed?????

Just got my "failure to reject" email - what a thrill!!
And the article was editted by Jim Lynn - I feel quite honoured.
But I'm not going to rush off and write something else just for the sake of writing - I'm going to wait until the right thing inspires me and then take the time to think about it and plan it all.
There are so many interesting things to do and talk about here - and such friendly people - I LOVE IT!!!
(Just realised that this is not as gramatically correct as it should be - oh well - bring on the pedants!!)

Just browsing around reading bits and noticed how much space on this site is devoted to alcohol, tea and coffee.
This may explain the numerous "I've been awake for x hours/days" posts.
But it makes you wonder - I hope someone is working on an entry for hangovers and cures for same - might give it a go myself - God knows I've had enough experience!

My First Time

Submitted my first page today - was going to leave it to see what people thought but then it occured to me that the longer I left it the more I would stuff with it and add to it and stuff.
I'm actually quite happy with it the way it stands so decided to bite the bullet and submit it.
We'll see ........
