I was searching for that nice chap who left that warm friendly welcome on my page. I have been redirected and through unfamiliarly I am not sure if I am thanks the Host or posting to my page.

How nice of you to go to the trouble of finding me 
Here's a couple of hints that may help you in future ...
1. You could have just replied to the Welcome message and I would have got the message or,
2. If you click on the name at the top of the message it will take you to the personal space of the person who posted.
