A smile is a great way to start the day - though I must admit that I find it really hard to be nice to anyone before 10am

Thank goodness people who know me know this and don't talk to me before then

Funny isn't it,some people are morning people and others are night people!My Grandie is a good morning person,she is always bright and cheerful when she gets up.I am pretty good first thing too but daughter is a monster!!
Very Quiet here atm as Grandie,daughter & partner are on holidays on the Gold Coast.Having a ball ,went to Seaworld today ,the dolphins are amazing they tell me,got to stroke a sealion,the highlight of the day!!
OH and I are off to Kilmore in the morning for the day!Thank goodness the price of petrol has come down a bit!
On that note I will say farewell!

Thought I'd better pop in for 5mins!Just off to bed as usual,too long on the eques forum!
Had a great day with friends in Kilmore,lots of 'horse talk'!Found out they are going o/s next June ,family wedding in the US and then a trip to the UK,so have given them my sisters address there.She lives in Wootton Hall,Wootton Wawen,a beautiful old house that was built in the 1600s,redone for Maria Fitzherbert,George IVs morganatic wife.Nice bit of history!!
I will leave you with that!

Back again for five minutes!Been flat out,like a lizard drinking! Now,there's a good old Aussie saying!Not bad for a Pommie eh?!
Weather is getting to me,too hot atm and it's not even summer yet!
Grandie did well at Holbrook show,got a haul of 10 ribbons,not bad for a 4yr old!! Poor kid had no choice about being 'horsey' did she!!

I'm off to the races with my boss,the Doc,tomorrow.Her horse Tearjerker is running at Wangaratta,he has been our baby as she bred him and we've done all his pre-educating,so very proud of him.
Must away and hit the sack!

Saturday arvo! Update on races,horse ran second!Funny really he sort of strolled out of the barrier and cantered to the first turn(on the outside!),suddenly realized he was in a race and started to fly,just half a head too late!!Gorgeous horse tho' so we forgave him!!
Next start is Wodonga Cup on Nov; 30th,the Doc is making it her Christmas party for all the bods who work for her ,so it's going to be a big 'do'!Marquee,food,chairs,TV,waiter,the kit and caboodle!!Damn ,will have to get frocked-up ,even a hat thingy!Oh!Well doesn't happen often!

Here I am again ,just for five minutes!!Thought you'd like to know that I'm off to the races again on Sunday! Wodonga Cup,the Docs' horse is running(fast ,we hope!)and she has a marquee booked for her Christmas party!You should enjoy that,plenty of booze,food,a TV to watch and chairs to sit on,so you don't even have to walk over to the track to see the races!! Have a bob each way on Tearjerker,but don't blame me if he stuffs up!!Enjoy!

Had a cow of a day,trying to sort the emails out,poor man in Sydney,had to feel sorry for him!He was very patient tho,.Still not fixed,daughter can have a go when she is home on Monday,I am over it!
