"Marilyn Manson, right? ;-)"

Thus said Joel Kirstein at school when I turned up on Wednesday... with black hair!!! Yes, I did it, I dyed my brown hair which always goes ginger when exposed to sunlight (yet more reasons why I shouldn't got out in the sunlight)! Jon Mayoh's reaction was "OH MY GOD!!! smiley - winkeye". And Marshall is calling me Lisa because I bear a striking resemblance to her from behind smiley - winkeye!
The dye's meant to be permanent... but it's already washing out... smiley - sadface

I'm going to Scotland. Not that there's anything wrong with Scotland, it's really cool, it's just that in the house I'm staying in HAS NO TV!!! what kind of a dumb-ass idea is that??? smiley - winkeye

Bits of wisdom....

"We're removing the History requirement. The children weren't testing well."
"Well, back to the three Rs, that's what I always say!"
"Two Rs come September."

Discover the reason why the Aztec pyramids are so similar in design to the Egyptian ones (apart from the fact that it's the only way of putting rocks on top of eachother without them falling over)...

This is my religion...

Once upon a time, when I was only very small, I decided to be an atheist as I was pretty much disillusioned with life in general, and I found church services unbelievably boring because I was only about as high as the pews. And was not allowed to anwer questions in Sunday School because I was either right or had a really, really, *REALLY* annoying debate as to why my wrong answer was right.
So I became an atheist.
And then my parents said "well, what if God IS real?"
This got me thinking.
If God was real, then I would be going to Hell (please note this is the argument I used against myself when I was about seven/eight, so it will sound rather naive, well, very naive), because I had oppurtunity, and lots of it, to believe. Not only that, but if I had had a religion to replace it with, it would have been OK, but I had replaced it with a solemn belief that we were nothing special, just chemical soups.
Just a random chance.
Nothing.
Then why are we sentient? Random chance again? That's a lot of random chances.
And so this carried on, until I decided that there *might* be a God, so it would probably be best to recognise that He *might* be listening. And then I decided that He probably was listening.
And then I decided that He *was* listening.
So I stopped.
