h2g2 The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy: Earth Edition

Okay, i was talking to Et, and she happened to mention Mostly Harmless, and i said it was good, and she said yes but one of her friends get depressed when she reads it, and i said 'Why?' and she said 'ask her'.... and so here i am, although i didn't realise she meant you, but anyway, Why?

I don't like Mostly Harmless coz I am Zaphara Beeblebrox, and it seriously mucked around with the possibility of my existing.
It didn't have Zaphod in it, and the only Trillian(s) it did have was stupid moany Tricia stupid McMillan and Trillian Astra who I seriously don't like coz she dumped Zaphod, and she had Random.
I hate Random, because I hate Arthur Dent, plus she is like a hyper Zaphara Beeblebrox mach 2 (or was it three?).
It gives me a headache trying to think out why all this happened, and trying to find a way to exist. Once I couldn't do anything for a month because of the migraine it gave me.
I have had Zaphara Beeblebrox ever since I heard the hitch-hiker's guide to the galaxy when I was nine, and I didn't discover MH til later, which meant it was too late to give up, I'd been doing this too long.
Which is why it makes me depressed.

How do you cope with not existing? Is it painful?

I do exist, it's Mostly Harmless that doesn't.

Not since she burnt it and put it in the bin.

moths are nice fuzzy little creatures, don't harm it, or i won't be happy.

If you remember from the book though, there are an infinite number of dimesions where all the different decisions are played out. The Guide Mark II works on the principle of reverse engineering to destroy Arthur Dent. Zaphod lives, Trillion dies and Ford dosen't get to keep his new shoes, so why do you hate the book? You get to spend uninterupted time with the big Z without authors from earth poking their noses into your life style. For you the book should be a god send.
Personally I don't like it as it seems to be an easy way out of having to write another Hitch Hikers book. Why DAdams didn't just turn around and start letting other authors write from his universe I don't know. It worked for AMcCaffrey now that she seems to want to start passing on some of her universes.
I do like Random though, she was a good idea for a charater that added a little uncertainty to the book. All the other main charaters we already knew (in one way or another).
