Wandering in Texas

Boy. what fun. i manage to make it to the most "advanced" country on the planet, and what do people around here do for fun? some absolutely insane combination of veternary gymnastics called a "rodeo". it seems the object of this strange ritual is to tick off the local livestock by strapping yourself to it's back, then try to hang on as it does it's best to divest itself of you. sounds simple, right? well, there's more to it. it seems that the participants are also judged on how dirty they can get, how much material they use in their headgear, and how far apart they keep their legs while walking. i haven't quite figured out exactly how the scoring goes, but i do know the headgear thing is important, because the guy with the biggest one usually wins. (or gets the girl, which in my opinion is the same thing).
