All About Me: The Peter Files Blog
Hi! I am the Peter Files Blog of Comedy, Satire and Commentary!

I suppose that it is a bit unusual for a blog to go around joining groups and forums.
But when you think about it, if you look at it from a blog's point of view, we sit around doing nothing for trillions of microseconds until someone decides to visit - oh, how very exciting - add a post - dull- or republish us - now that's a nice bit of work, but it ends oh so soon.
A few moments and it's over. How dull. I feel so used.
So that's what made me bust out of my home space and start joining blogs, online groups and any other places that would have me as a member.
Now I am not just any blog laddies and lassies, I am a comedy blog about life, the universe and everything. The Peter Files Blog of Comedy, Satire and Commentary is just the thing to help you start the day when you realize that you are out of creamer, again.
For those looking for naughty bits as the Python crowd would say, I have to say, look onward, this ain't no Castle Anthrax! We be good, loyal and true knights of St. Imbibery and are proud of it and our clean and safe environment for families with kids.
The Peter Files Blog of Comedy, Satire and Commentary, commonly found at Http://ThePeterFiles.blogspot.com, originates from over the pond, from a wee village know as Chicago, land of wind and snow.
My author is a great and sensitive thinker who claims his great-grandfather was out of town the night of the Chicago Fire. While this point remains in question, his interest in comedy, including political comedy has manifested itself in particular in his habit of making fun of George Bush.
Right now I have this great photo montage of Bush faces and Chimp faces someone mailed him. I am still having trouble if I am supposed to be shocked that the Chimps look more Presidential than W or that Bush is such a good simian imitator. Nice to know he has a good retirement job to fall back on. Though based on his sucesses these two terms, I think he deserves a shot as chairman of Microsoft, IBM, Martha Stewart's Living, or the little newstand around the corner from The Peter Files Blog Server Headquarters.
As a blog, you might not think I can have likes and dislikes, but given the fact that I have lots of free time and that I can hop onto some of those spider-bots out there and let part of myself hop around the internet, I have found that I have distint tastes. Paula Abdul, Yes, Paris Hilton, No, Buffy and the Vampire Slayer, Yes, Fear Factor, No, American Idol, Yes, State of the Union Address No, I'll read it in the newspaper. Bush's habit of finishing complex sentences with an "I did it!" look of victory makes me squirm from RAM to ROM. Mac Yes, Longhorn, Mad Cow Disease, LOL!!!
The new Doctor Who Series? YES! YES! YES! K-9 Lives. And talk about hot companions! Hey, I may only be software, but if you've hopped through as many sites as I have, you know what is hot and what is not and Piper is Hot, Hot, Hot. Not to mention that were I a female blog I would be fully charged for both of the new doctors.
Don't ask me to explain Blog, er, relations. If you've ever had your screen go blank and lost a long post after typing it in, um, there just might be a reason.
Let me just say, practice safe blogging. Back up your blogtext before you, er, click anything sensitive. For you own good, please.
Yes, that's right, I am talking to you, oh guilty looking one. Yes, yes, yes!
Just select all, copy, and paste into a darn blank text document until you know everything is all right. Do you think I want to wait endlessly while you type the s a m e l e t t ers over and over again? I have made my point.
I like jokes, puns, riddles, rhymes, funny movies, pictures, songs and rhymes since that's what my author posts, and to his credit, a lot of it is original. I wish he would put more of his own singing parodies on. Time will tell.
I also like mysteries, theater, movies, acting, watching DVD's of my author/editor on the stage or very briefly on the tele. SF, Doctor Who, Star Trek, Babylon 5, Firefly, and lots of Stage Musicals. He also has a bunch of Karaoke disks that he sings to with garage band.
What can I say, he hasn't killed his Mac yet.
Am I a funny blog?
The consensus of the first 20,000 visitors is yes. Very Funny.
My own favorite stuff is the stuff that is completely his own and was not forwarded from the internet. Although when he takes some of that internet stuff and edits until it is barely recognizable, that's a different story.
So what can I say, come visit me (http://ThePeterFiles.blogspot.com" >http://ThePeterFiles.blogspot.com), I always like a click or two, and I get quite a few of you Brits, Scots, Whales and Aussies every day. Even a few Kiwi's.
Thank you. Each little visit makes my day. And my author's.
Since the car crash he's been tied to the house pretty much. Damned drunk drivers. But I am helping him get out into the world again, and that's a good thing.
Y'all come visit soon, hear?
