Hi Two Bit, long time no see. Thought I'd post you a link to the forum: A1146917 there tends to be fairly reasoned discussion here and far fewer games/fluff than in askh2g2.

Thanks. I really appreciate it. I've bookmarked it. As of now, I may be too heavily involved in two other discussions. Once they die down, all start looking around for more.
I don't have as much time as I used to.

I'm certainly glad to see Two Bit back here - even if it is with limited time Our views don't often align, but it is always good to hear opposing views expressed in his calm, rational manner
One thing I really noticed through all the discussion of the US election was that the Americans here on h2g2 were almost unanimously Kerry supporters, or at least the ones that expressed a view were Kerry supporters (I wonder what that says about this community?). There was very little comment from the Bush side, I think I only saw one researcher go for Bush.
Anyway, welcome back

I'm really touched. I don't know that I've ever felt so appreciated.
I guess I'll be back more, even though this site, more than any other seems to be the most time consuming. Just dropping in yesterday and posting three messages left me behind on paying bills and getting ready for my military drill this weekend.
This site can be a bit overwhelming. Coming back and seeing twenty new messages in a thread after one day can really set me back. That can be too much to respond to.
This is an awfully nice site with nice people. It stands to reason that a lot of people here are of a liberal bent. I'm a conservative, I have sympathy for people, but I have a different view on what's best for people.
Thank you all very much for the warm welcome back.

Hey, 2Bit, I've said it before and I'll say it again, we need you here to show us that republicans are caring intelligent guys that we’d probably like if we met socially. Hell, we *do* like you!

I just enjoy reasoned argument, even if I don't agree with the opinions stated - ooh, does that make me liberal
