When you say you do arty farty sculpture classes, do you mean that you create sculpture or teach? Sculpture is one artform I've always wanted to try. I work the night shift now, but will be moved to days in a while, and I hope to be able to take some classes at night when I do, and sculpture is at the top of my list!

h2g2 is a wonderful site! It's literally a guide to Life, the Universe and Everything written by Researchers like you! You can write Guide Entries, read, and you can talk to other Researchers. Douglas Adams wrote an Entry explaining his vision for h2g2 at A550955 if you're interested. If you'd like to contribute to h2g2 with a Guide Entry of your own, check out the Writing Guidelines at A53209 which should help to get you started.

There's lots to keep you busy around here if writing Entries isn't your cup of tea. There’s a tour you might want to read: A219638 ... which is a great introduction to the website, and our weekly newspaper The Post has a page of links to clubs and societies around h2g2 at A660304 which should help you get in touch with Researchers with similar interests. You should also consider bookmarking and regularly visiting the <./> h2g2 FrontPage </.>. There's plenty of interest there that changes every day!

If you ever want to talk to a Researcher, just click on their name. That will take you to their Personal Space, and you can leave them a message there (like I'm doing now!) by clicking on the 'Leave A Message' button.

Most importantly captainlethargy, have fun! You might find yourself meeting some great new friends! I know I have!

Am a student, not a teacher.

I sit sometimes, life and portrait for an art class.

I found I liked sculpture after doing a series of suck it and see classes in the arty subjects. At present am making an eight foot high androgynous woman because, at my age, it is easier to make your own than to pull one.

It/she was to be a giant barmaid, Siduri, but nobody can get round her in the studio so I had to go for a seated position this time. I have to call it she because "YOU HAVE TO HAVE RESPCT FOR THE PIECE"

I have a slight foreboding that this site might be too intelligent for me but we shall see.

Must stop because am waiting for the plumber to arrive. Boiler broken for the last 36 hours. Fingers frozen.

If you are ever in England - Sorry - I mean Wales and want to stay somewhere haunted try West Blockhouse. It's a Victorian Napoleonic Wars fort with World War 2 additions at the mouth of Milford Haven in Pembrokeshire. It has a website I think.

My mind has gone blank and I can't remember the name of it, but it reminds me of the painting of the artist hugging the sculpture that's coming to life.

Don't worry about this site being too intelligent for you. There's lots of silliness to be found as well!

Why does the boiler only ever break down when it's cold? Never when it's warm!

I work for a newspaper website. I'm getting switched back to the day shift again soon, though! Yay!

I don't think I could get my husband to stay somewhere haunted ... then again, maybe he would, since he's such a logical guy! He'd have fun trying to figure out if it's fake or not!

I have to run, I'm in the middle of March Madness basketball. Fun.
