Hi Phoenix,
I was wondering, you seem to have read the hitchhikers books a bit. Could you tell me about the raingod. What book he is in and his name, I've only read each book once and I cant remember, I know he is a lorry driver.
Hope to hear from you soon

Well HI there ......
Thanks for stopping by. You're the first person here to ask me to help find something in the books for them. Thanks for your question, I am always happy to help with such things.
The Rain God in question is named Rob McKenna. You can find out all about him in So Long an Thanks for All the Fish (Book 4 of the Hitchhiker Series). Like the Eskimos, who have over two hundred words for snow according to the book, he has 231 different types of rain that he has classified. Although he hates rain actually, see seems to like driving through puddles to drench hitchhikers.
If there's anything else you need help finding, please feel free to stop by again. Feel free to stop by even if you don't have a question though as well.

Hi Phoenix,
thank you now that you say it I remember those things I just needed to be reminded, and I had also forgotten where i knew about the Eskimo and the number of words for snow. I only read the last two I saw the first two on the TV and later listend to them on an audio tape so sometimes you forget what you have read and what you have dreamed.

Greetings
Another problem in trying to keep all the information straight is that each of the different incarnations of the Hitchhiker's Guide (Radio shows, TV, Books, etc.) is that they are all slightly (sometimes greatly) different from each other. Share and enjoy.
