well Mic (pronounced mike) is short for Michael, who am I.
I am a 23 year old male-type person who answers phones as a disguise for the real world and in my spare time I play Guitar, Capoeira (Brazilian Martial Art), Dungeons and Dragons, DJing, Poetry, and self directed study into the frantically spinning cogs and hamster-wheels of my mind (and the effects of certain chemicals on these hamsters.)
I live in Ponsonby (suburb of Auckland). I have a really cool family - a brother (sports science student) and sister (marine biology student) who both live in Dunedin (South Island of NZ) and go to University there and a beautiful Mother who is a vet nurse in a small town about 2 hours drive south of Auckland. I had a Dad who was the best father ever but he went to the great dairy farm in the sky (yes, underneath it all I'm a farmboy), last year. I miss him a lot.
I have found life quite interesting and beautiful so far, even the painful and brutal bits.
and I'll shut up now since there is probably more interesting stuff to read around here.
who are you?

Very Interesting, I must say!! Who would I be?? That is a question I ask myself often in the wee hours of the night but I'll take a swing at it because you're asking. I am Cheryl, a Citizen of the humble (ha) United States, an upstate New Yorker. I would be being the youngest child of ten children (from a total of five different marriages), a very weird family.Hence i am a weird girl, I suppose. I am 19 and wishing to stay that way but 20 is looming still. I write quite a bit, and hope to make a fortune at it someday (I remind you the chances of a miracle however infintessemally small are not exactly zero, I am counting on that!) At this time i am paying my way through the university to get my degree in english, trying to somehow get a less idealistic view point of the world (its not working) and trying to live up to the blown up expectations of my parents!! I read everything I can get my hands on..., (mmm.the drugs and drinking , but youve heard of that already) I tend to sit in my room and complain about the condition of things around me. Ha thats why i find h2g2 so absorbing!! And right now, I'm avoiding studying for a test a have in a few short hours. Online is great.
my email is [email protected] I have to smack myself so I can stop myself from jabbering on for another nine paragraphs(which i might add dont look like paragraphs to me).
hmmmm

indeed there are some really interesting folk to be found on this website, and you sound like one of them. The main cool thing is talking to people from completely different places that still seem to have a lot in common. It is very good for me to know this as I am sometimes depressed and think no one understands (that seems to be the main thing those of our generation have in common).
Anyway I must go prepare tomorrow morning's hangover. Oh I am going to fix my scooter tomorrow. Yippee!!!!!
see you.

Our generation should be called, "no one understands me"... Yeh, I definitely am comforted by seeing similarities in interesting peoples like yourself (very weird since you are all the way in NZ) and their waves of thought. There was a time when i was paranoid that i was a little too weird. Its insane sometimes really, that a lot of people are having the same funked emotions, but no one says a word. Must keep it to yourself, maybe thats our generation.
Soo many interesting people yet a lot of them clam up at the slightest provocation of meaningful conversation. Its disturbing. But anywho i hope you have a good time tonite preparing a hangover for yourself, ( finals are over thank you to the almighty goat!!)Later

My scooter is all go ... YIPPEE
Yay for your exams being over. Obviously you've been on a 4 day celebratory drug-binge but we'll see you when you're back.
Anyway looks like someone who actually knows what he's talking about has showed up in our cannabis debate, so I suppose our fun is over there. . .
I'll go see what other trouble I can cause.
I'm eating Jelly Beans. Yum.

I have been zipping frantically around Auckland ever since I got him back. A motor Scooter is the best thing to have for a city dweller. Auckland has f****d traffic systems and even s**ttier public transport so it's cool to not have to worry about traffic jams and etc. It sucks in the rain though.
I hope you have a good weekend in the Utica. Mine is about to begin.
Black Jaybees
Ac-1D Posted May 28, 1999
I agree. I always eat the black ones first so I don't have to deal with them later, or I take them out and put them in a bag and give them to someone who cares.
I have noticed that Jelly Beans just don't look the same with the Black ones taken out so maybe their purpose is entirely aesthetic?

Could be? i think the black jelly beans are added for color not flavor. But then again they have bags of jelly beans with only black beans. My dad buys em they are repulsive to even look at all together. HUh ive been out of the forum so long i have no idea what the hell is going on. I shall have to work hard to get back in now!!! ack byes
