Feel the need to apologise abjectly again for the Simon Donovan thing, especially as it's taken me this long to notice your messgae on the subject. It honestly slipped my mind that anyone might not yet have seen it. I never even knew you watched West Wing. I feel particularly guilty what with you being a friend and all.
Sorry...

Nooooooooooooooo
now I'm asking
I want to know what happens at the end of series 3 because I missed it, and I doubt I'll get to see it before the DVDs come out, by which time we'll be well into series 4

hmmmm (tries to remember)
CJ fired Simon's gun... he walked her home from a party - can't remember the "important" details of the episode, but that was at the end.

Oh okay.
Well, Bartlet met his electoral opponent (a folksy moron clearly based on Dubya) and decided to kick his ass after his response to Simon's death was 'Gee, crime, I dunno'. Bartlet went off for more characteristic soul-searching about whether or not to assassinate a terrorist leader (he did, in the end).
CJ and Simon decided they shouldn't go out while he was still officially her bodyguard. Then CJ's stalker was caught (offscreen) and they gave each other a va-va-voom kind of a look. A cheery Simon went off to the shops, stumbled into a robbery in progress and was shot dead by the one robber he hadn't spotted. CJ was a bit upset.
I'm a bit vague on it myself as I missed the very end first time round due to... oh, well, it's not important, but it was the last episode of 24.

oooh thank you!
now I just need to find someone who videoed the episodes and kept 'em!
Did *whispers* that other thing someone unfortunately told me about happen yet, or is that the beginning of the next series?
