Yes but the ¼ birthdays were always such a fun thing when my older three were small (stemming from Adrian Mole and his famous ¾ birthday, which they all read).
Birthdays were when you got cards from everyone & . ¼ birthdays were special family days that only the special few got to celebrate...we usually had a special tea and bottle of pop.
¼ birthday is also special in that *cough* (you may not want to read this...) but it's the anniversary (roughly) of the day you were conceived.

Lunch - I've got a curry booked at the university social club - the Friday Curry. As well as POETS day, it's also Curry day
