I'm off to the cinema this morning then 1pm at the hospital for a "pre-op assessment interview"the hosp secretary rung me yesterday afternoon and I thought they were ringing to cancelthen she said we need to check you're suitable for anaesthesiaI said I've had it enough times before and she just said "Bring in a list of your current medication" - so OK I'll go there and try to find somewhere to park and hope I get away before Andrew comes home

Thank you... and now I have a sore arm from the blood testand even had an ECG this afternoon, as well!
I'm taking Mum to a carol concert at Grimsby Town Hall tonight, 5.45
Oh and, Ron can't give me a lift there or collect me because he's going to his daughter's tonight, because it's grandson Ben's first nativity play in the morning at his school and he's got a speaking part.
OK, so I'll just get a taxi to the hospital and ask my daughter to leave work, collect me, drop me home then go back to work? Which she will, bless her.
*gulp*

...was lovely. Mostly it was the whole audience singing but New Waltham First school were there and they sang "Little Donkey" so beautifully
There was a raffle and the proceeds went to the Mayor's 3 charities, one of which is the St Andrew's Children's Hospice.
