a bit about me
I’m:
from the East End of London [authentic ethnic cockney];
a one-time performance poet, till I lost my nerve;
an ex-member of Mensa;
an ex-Scout Leader [they seem to think that all pagans are perverts, which is a bit rough after 18+ years’ unblemished service];
what else?
I’m visually impaired [and apologise here for any typos in anything I type in future! The text in these boxes isn’t that big]
I call myself a Patchwork Pagan; I gave up on Christianity some years back, and looked around for something else, couldn’t find anything that met my needs, so now I’m making my own road, taking what seems good to me from various sources and blending it into something that feels right to me.
I’ve been told that I have psychic potential, but it’s hard to find somewhere to find out more about that that isn’t Christian-based.
I’m a writer – mostly poetry, though I’ve written a one-act opera [based on Gilbert & Sullivan], a film script and a six-foot-long, twelve-hundred-word wordsearch puzzle, none of which have travelled further than my desk drawer to date. I had a 100+-page website till my PC started throwing fits; if I ever get that sorted I'll stick the url in here.
I’m currently sort of working on two novels and an updated version of the old Mediaeval Mystery Plays.
I like Red Dwarf, Terry Pratchett Jackie Chan, used to like Star Trek but got fed up with Captain James Testosterone Kirk [though I still love the *concept* of Trek], classical music, Meatoaf, pipes and drums, both Scots and Irish.
I’ve not had a tv for about ten years and it’s amazing how much you don’t miss it: of course, not knowing what you’re missing helps there.
No doubt I’ll think of something else I could have said as soon as I’ve posted this!
I don’t think I can add much to the abovet, I’m basically a pretty boring person!

"The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy is a wholly remarkable book. It has been compiled and recompiled many times and under many different editorships. It contains contributions from countless numbers of travellers and researchers."
