How about that? I mean the new subject title. Anyway as I said at the end of the Tell Tale Story: Spring ended or Summer started with the worst Ice storm I ever saw.smiley - grrsmiley - headhurtssmiley - groan
My neighbor the scottish Lady said: it was like the Niagara falls.
She just got new batches of Impatients to replace what the storm ripped apart!smiley - wah
Like I said: it could have been worse because was tornado warning also and as I saw the sky before the storm: it looked unusually very threatening.smiley - boing
Summer is here? I had to put some heating on: 10 C and is June5.smiley - grr

I was very active lately with postings, don't want to pressure you because you have hard work anyway! I just post for review in AWW.
That is my place! Also I constantly change my Personal Page, because Change is constant.
Postings are about Episodes in "Dr. Lucifer office", "No exit" is also in similar place. The poems were written couple of years ago, but remains in good understanding even now.
Have some poems from the field of Gardening, some of telling you about ROSES. May be I'll work on those now. smiley - rose

Already? Summer must have come for you them. We still have a while to wait.

At the moment the sky is getting very dark and ominous. I think that we are soon to get another thunder storm. Still, much as we humans enjoy the sunshine, I think the little plants will enjoy some rain and cloud cover for a while untilt ehy get growing. The past few days of planting were hot and sunny with a wind that felt like it had just blown off the Sahara Desert. That's very hard for the little plants to have to deal with before they have a chance to put down roots in their new home.

It is very cold here, must have a little heating going on.
Out in the West are record high temp. And I tell you: because it is desert there, because they killed the trees!
I wrote this already somewhere else: All deserts--- exept the Sahara--- were covered with trees! So much for the dry, chocking heat what was beautyful cool place some time ago!

Yes, roses are blooming, not much in my garden, bcause have to much shade! But dug up some old poems about roses! Brace yourself, after correction I will post!

There was D-Day remembering today I watched, and R. Reagan died and now that will be the subject of remembering. Poor Nancy, she really got a share from sadness. But he is not suffering anymore.
I look after the roses ( poems).

Those foolish humans will leave us nothing but desert and salt flats before they're through. The salt flats may be a good place to go fast in cars, but they sure will miss having a nice shady tree or two to sit under when they get tired of making all that noise. smiley - sadface

I was surprised to learn that RR had died. To be honest, I thought he had died a while ago. I should pay closer attention to what's going on around me, I guess. smiley - blush

We watched some of the D-Day services from France. They were very moving. Each year the number of veterans gets smaller. smiley - cry

Finally it is a nice day here. But it will take more time to warm up.

The sad news is about RR, that the truth is with a terrible illness like he had, he was no longer with us since he was diagnosed, ( 10 years??) only the body was alive.

It is a tragic illness, and not rare in these days. However I believe, that as neurology advencing in the research labs,-- there will be answer, as there is answer to every problem and question.
Certainly the human brain is extremely complex, and it is extremely hard to find the way to see what is really happening in there.

But it will be done, it will unfold as so many other things come to life.
If you think: medical science is very young. Just only lately got we equipments to be able to handle things closer. What we see is very far from the real things! We don't see anything what is under the microscope! There you are: closer to reality! Yes dear JTG: reality is hidden in the true sense! Our "knowledge" is next to very little.

About D-day? Does humans change for better? What kind of a killing is going on today? Those beautiful young, strong, healthy lifes--- a split of a second and is gone! After many years of care and worry ;what is that for the parents? No, dear: I never regret, that I don't have children. I did not want to happen things like this to my child.- No, no regrets!

I don't know about human history where the suicidal activity was so frequent as in these days? What is that mean? The worst of all, that there is no limit in killings, because they who kill also kill themself. There is no more to say. smiley - blue BB smiley - tit

Looking on the bright side, I think that now there are many more humans of kind nature with big hearts who do good simply because it is the right thing to do and they care too much to allow the terrible things to go on.

There are many exciting things about to be revealed in medicine it seems, many exciting new treatments around the corner. Sadly, many of our old enemies, such as measles, are making a sneaky comeback because people take their health too much for granted.

I think that the world is changing for the better, very slowly, but change may come quicker as more lazy people like me find it easier to channel help to the good people and learn more about what goes on in the world.

I don't know what is going on around here with the weather: Today was like the middle of August, so hot and humid, too hot to work!

My squirrel friend had to give me a stern lecture today about alowing the supply of peanuts to run out. She sits on the roof over my shed door and talks quite plainly. Though her words are hard to understand, her meaning is not.

It was hot as hell today. Worked in the garden with a kid, but had to give up. Reached here almost 100 F!!!
A/C are running, so much for that.
Now think of January when we were dreaming of this! Well, no complains, still better than winter.

I watched the State Funeral of R.R. It was very hot and humid there too. But was nice with those military disciplined stuff.
The riderless horse was very nervous. The cascet weight 700 lb!
I am really sorry how much they draging around his body! Well, once you don't know it, it does not matter. Think Nancy appreciated the honor.
What will bring the future? We don't know. A Day at time.
Did a lot of lurking: saw 124 photos from h2g2 members.
I would never go to a "meet up"!!! Blue Bird. smiley - tit
Thanks for your optimistic look out.smiley - biggrinsmiley - star

Weird weather! The last two days have been very hot and humid here too. But today was like November... well, almost. It was cold and rainy and miserable all day, even though the weather forecasters said sun in the afternoon. No sign of it! My three young helpers are all coming down with colds as a result of the shifting temps. Poor things.

Poor RR. He really should be best remembered for making a movie with a chimp and stabbing his film colleagues in the back at the McCarthy hearings. I wonder if there would be anywhere near as much fuss over his funeral if George W Bush wasn't courting re-election and hoping to get Republicans nostalgic. It's interesting that no one seems to be talking about Contra-gate, the dead marines in Beirut, the invasion of Grenada or the fact that he blew the budget and ran up the biggest deficit since the Second World War.

I lurked my way into some h2g2 pictures recently, too. Where did you find them? I've been meaning to sort one out to post.

Blue Bird

I was not at my computer for couple of days.
Going back: today a friend was here, who is trying hard to fix my antivirus mess. I really don't care.
But more interesting IS that we started to built a new birdfeeder which will have a squirrel bluffer!
I sincerely love squirrels equally with the birds, but in this wildlife refuge they must learn to eat where is their designated place! The birds are just as thiefs as the squirrels! But this feeder should take care at least about the proper feeding places: called: SELECTIVE FEEDING.
I had one time a very fine arrangement. ( Yeah, my husband helped me)
But ended up that my fancy sattelite feeder was stolen all together from the hanging rope by the squirrels!
Humans should learn to use their tiny little brains like the squirrels do! Just fantastic animals!

The fotos I got from azahar, who lives in Spain, But as usual, I don't know how to find her, because I always loose lot of info.
I don't know her U number. But will find it, than I let you know!

Hi, I wondered where you were. smiley - winkeye

Here is a link to azahar's page: U220722. That's the same gallery I was looking at the other day too. I'll post a picture as soon as I sort one out.

I hope the new squirrel-proof feeder works out. I feel the same way about squirrels: They are a delightt o watch, and deserve as much attention as any other creature, but they sure do use up the bird seed fast, wasting more than they eat. I've given up trying to fool them. Now I just pour a mound of seed onto the top of a table and let the various critters scatter it about and help themselves. smiley - doh

Thanks a lot to give me azahar's link. I was just about to go to look in ~jwf~ page, because there is a very good conversation anyway. She lives in Seville, perhaps you know all this.

I have some touching stories about my "wildlife" refuge here and I will write them and post them and call the attention. And if in h2g2 there are not so many people interested in Nature's stories I'll find where the experts are. h2g2 is OK,--- but not specialized!
And I let you know where I am going with those stories.

Also will write a short note about RR and funeral,- because if there is a human's DOB---DOD ( birth and dead) that is the same data anywhere and any time. But THE HISTORY in beween those two dates is different as many people say it: everybody has a different point of view! So much for history!

Today and yesterday here was the PERFECT WEATHER LIKE IN HAWAII! Happens very very rare, but we enjoy it like never before.

Same here with the unbearable moisture in the air. Yes, it does melts the brain, but I did not know how to spell it out. Thanks! Though I don't understand:
What it means : " to dig a picture out?"

Now I tell you a joke I heard today: " It hardly took 3 days to bury
Jesus Christ, but took close to 10 days to bury RR."

We'll continue! BB smiley - titsmiley - smiley

smiley - rofl... let's hope, in this case, he stays buried.

By 'Digging out a picture' I meant rummage through my photo albums for something I wouldn't mind having posted on the 'Net.

Today was even hotter thatn yesterday, I think, certainly much more humid. I feel really drained today, so I bought some things to eat from an Indian grocery. Then at least I can pretend I'm in India. smiley - winkeye

Did I mention that my squirrel friend has been asking me to buy more peanuts? Well, finally I did; and, last night, she decidd to share her good fortune with me by filling my work boots with nuts, which she has never done before. smiley - laugh

Ah, so courageos man! Digging pictures to show yourself to the world!? Let's see! smiley - cool Though I tell you: I have an image of everybody from the writings.smiley - magic Some times I am wrong, but that means I am human after all only I'd like to be a Blue Bird smiley - titto bring Happiness all over.smiley - biggrinsmiley - starsmiley - biggrin

So the images are totally spiritual, has no physical form, just the soul of the person. Lot of fun, because I have to define the age, the gender, perhaps profession ( occupation). However from azahar's collection I have seen 124 faces or budies even a naked one. ( No big deal for an artist)smiley - blush
This way my spiritual imagings are somewhat modified some for better, some for wors. Some times I'd say: I wish I would not have seen this photo!smiley - grr But there are very kind, sweet faces also! Like: ( Your's???)smiley - smiley)
Because I don't have E-mail connection with you, I can not go further on this subject.

Yes it is really HELL of a hot with high humidity.
My new feeder is installed, but not functioning yet!
Tonight a squirrel dug out my plantation from this morning! I never had this much trouble! Perhaps I am feeding them to much.
I have high hopes to put to use the new feeder. At least get some birds here back, what the sq. chased away!

My entry is ready: ROSE TALK (title.) connected with Voltaire IF anybody would recognize the fine symbolizm in it! Don't worry I'll lead the smiley - sheep there to eat some spiritual rose buds. Refreshing smiley - eurekafor the minds overwhelmed with weeds! smiley - sorry No, it is not their fault! This age is full of**t.
smiley - sleepy g. night! Zzzzz smiley - tit
P.S. Regarding death and funerals: there is resurrection! smiley - biggrin

John the gardener says, "Free Tibet!"

It certainly is the age of weeds! I've been coming home too tired to even check my email. We've had monsoon rains off and on all week and the weeds are growing at record pace. At last there is some light at the end of the tunnel, or the edge of the jungle. This weekend, the outdoors can take care of itself while I catch up on some reading.

My squirrel friend got through a whole bag of peanuts this week. She is enormous! I don't think she shares them with anyone, except the ones she hid in my boots to share with me.

I've had two photo-related jobs to do this week, and, so far, have managed to do neither. The picture on my Personal Space will have to suffice for a few more days, I think, for those who are curious. It does bear an unsettling close resemblance; although I don't recall ever dressing quite like that, certainly not for some time. smiley - laugh

I agree that sometimes it is best to trust your mental image of a person, formed from their words alone. That is a picture of who we are trying to be, for better or worse, not how we happen to have been formed. It can be disappointing to see an actual photograph of someone. I think we deserve a second chance to be beautiful if we have kind hearts.
