I am 68 years old (almost) and have no offspring so I am not very well informed in how you can raise two offspring on your own. It seems to me that you must need lots of help to do this wondrous thing.

A man bringing up two children on his own is one of the things i admire most..takes a lot of love, patience and energy....being a single mother i can very much appreciate the problems this brings along

Actually, other than my parents letting them sleep at their house while I work(nights). I pretty much take care of them myself. While it has hampered a social life, I know where they are and that they are safe.

Yes, it is most challenging and time consuming, but my children are worth it : )

For some reason my reply didn't get posted. If you should see it floating about the ether let me know.
What I wanted to say was that I don't think anyone who has children really minds about the apparent loss of social life. It's all worth it when you see them smiling up at you just because they've seen you coming. Children are wonderful and I certainly wouldn't be without mine.
