Just thought it was nifty... I'm attending Radford University, about 3 hours south of you on I-81. Researcher ddombrow goes to Tech... we should try to meet sometime!!

sure, why not?
I wonder if Tech (boo!) is playing JMU again this year? I hope so. We never can win, but at least it's fun. Like when, two years ago, we took out their 1st string quarterback for the whole year. Of course, that meant Michael Vick got moved up...
hmm
guess that backfired
anyway, that'd be a good excuse for a reasearcher's meet, don't you think?

I actually have no idea if Tech's playing JMU this year or not... I don't keep track of it (I know, a carnal sin)... plus, since I don't actually live in Va, it's hard to keep track of southern stuff when one is innundated with Penn State things left and right.
But yeah-- we should all find a way to do something! Me and Dan (ddombrow) get together occasionally when I have a concert (music major) and go do the have dinner/hang out thing, but not too often cause neither of us drive. When Tech gets back to school, I'll email him and tell him to stop by here to leave a note... then we can plan stuff.

Well, I know more than a few H2G2 fans (although none of them are researchers) that would be up for a informal get-together type thing. Plus, we can all drive.
Of course, that's because we're all cooler than you, because we're at JMU instead of Radford.
:P
hehe
Actually, one of the folks I'd try to bring is a Radford graduate. Although he hasn't read all the hitchhiker books. But I'm willing to look past that

Aaaaaaaaaaaaah...!!! Sorry I missed you! I keep on getting distracted with other stuff! for c
SM - we should all try and figure out a thing to do then... I think Tech goes back next week... so I'll email Dan about it when I next see him online.

"The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy is a wholly remarkable book. It has been compiled and recompiled many times and under many different editorships. It contains contributions from countless numbers of travellers and researchers."
