The Wonderful Contributions of Richard Sykes
Hello there! you already know my name so I won't bother with introductions. I've just been informed about this amazing new web site, and how incredible is it?!? I mean, it's going to turn into that book that you talked about when you where a kid - "The Book of Everything about Everything". Incredible. So, my part to add to this site is all about the wonderful subject that is Microclimatology. Microclimatology involves the interaction of the surface of the earth with the 2 metres of atmosphere directly in contact with it. It entails all kinds of amazing things such as heat, moisture and momentum fluxes and lots of mathematical equations that I don't have the foggiest idea about! I have now been sat here at my computer in room 3V3, in the Cotterel building at the University of Stirling in Scotland. I am attempting to complete an absolute SWINE of an assignment set by the magnanimous Dr. John Harrison, in which he wishes us to fully discuss the results of 6 field work exercises which we where required to undertake.The thing is, he introduced a statistical component into the exercise and now I, we, are fed up to the back teeth with it all! I don't want to do any more so I'm just going to sit here and see what messages come my way if any. I mean, I'm registered as being Researcher 39 thousand and something, but with 100 million internet users I may get *some* attention. We'll see! See you around and thanks for reading...Conversations
