Thanks bubster! I've pushed my doubts aside the best I can. Right now I am just happy that I don't have to wake up at 6 in the morning every day to get ready for school anymore!

I'm going to miss a lot of people and events from high school but change is inevitable, so I might as well look on the bright side. My past is just that now. My slate is wiped clean, and I can start over and shape my own life. OK obviously it's not quite that dramatic of a transition, but still, I'm going to a large university with only one person I know there, and although that is kind of bewildering, I have more confidence in myself than I did say 4 months ago. I guess you could call it growing pains, that stage I was going through. And hey, if I really want to see certain people I can make it happen. Maybe not as often as I'd like, but it's not like I'll never see my friends again. I'm still searching for an identity but at least I am optimistic now.

I don't know how to explain it, but in this last month that whole emotional roller coaster came to a halt. I'm not depressed or moody anymore. I've had a few moments at graduation parties realizing I'd never see many of these people again, but I think everyone has those. Basiclly I'm thrilled to be done with school as I know it, and I'm looking forward to my future, whatever it may hold. And I still haven't shaken that rambling habit.
