Another Red Dwarf fan. Hi!

They say comedy doesn't travel well across the Atlantic, but you've obviously got a sense of humour! (And a vegetarian to boot!) So what appeals to you about Red Dwarf (when apparently, most Americans just don't 'get it'?)

Didn't the USA make it's own version? What's it like? And on a similar vein, what do you think of Disney making HHGG?

See you around! smiley - winkeye

Thanks for the compliment! As for Red Dwarf, most Americans never HEARD of it. I am among the lucky few who live near a PBS station that carries it. Everyone I know that has seen it does like it, so I think you're being a little unfair there. The American version you mention was just one pilot which was so terrible that it was never even shown. I think trying to "Americanize" Red Dwarf is like having Elvis sing with a Brittish accent, you know? Stick with the original. As for the H2G2 movie, well, it doesn't really matter who's providing the funds, does it? I mean, a rose by any other name still pricks you when you pick it up. Anyways, nice talkin' to you!
