How do I get my entery edited. I spent two months on it and it's been sitting there for four weeks. I assume when it's been edited it's been approved. Is this right. Please enlighten me on this. Thanks.

Hi. I just happened to notice this message out here, and figured I could help out...
If you want your article to become a part of the Edited Guide, you would go to the Peer Review page, here: http://www.bbc.co.uk/h2g2/guide/A395589
You'll want to start a new conversation on that page about your article. Be sure to follow the instructions carefully, or else the thread can end up being removed from there, dumped into the Sin Bin. Once it's in Peer Review, other researchers will come by and read your article, and offer feedback. They'll tell you what they like about it, and what they think could use some work. You're free to accept or reject any criticism you like... these are your peers, not your teachers.
Anyway, the Scouts are volunteers who are charged with diving into Peer Review and retrieving the articles which are ready to enter the Edited Guide. When you've finished making modifications based on recommendations in Peer Review, and a Scout feels that the article is Edited Guide Entry caliber, then they will recommend your article to the h2g2 staff. If they agree, then your article will be passed on to a sub-editor, and turn into a feature on the front page.
