Armadillos
The Oxford English dictionary states thathis creature is: "a nocturnal insect-eating edentate mammal of the family Dasypodidae, native to Central and South America, with large claws for digging and a body covered in bony plates, often rolling itself into a ball when threatened." There now, wasn't that a nice description? One that its grandparents can be proud of I hear you say. Well, what the young armadillo's grandparents can be even more proud of is how much of a career it has been making for itself in the advertising industry. First off there was that television commercial for a well known confectionary bar. This involved great stunt work by the armadillos as they had to be dropped from a great height and land on hard concrete floors. The union was not pleased about that i can tell you. However, the wide soread viewing of this commercial led to the explosion of popularity of the armadillo, which consequently resulted in armadillos all over the world having to go into hiding for fear of being poached and used in shop fronts as a sign that the confectionary bar in question was sold there.Latest Messages
