I had just one question:

In DSLRs Entry A87864349 I like the tip about photographing the day's work, but then I'm confused by the mention of Photo Diary - do you mean writing a description of each photo in a diary?

After a days work write brief notes stating
Location(s) date and time of session and other relevant information.
Take a photo of that and you have notes permanently attached to the photos on the film cards.

or buy a diary and note every shot and details in that, that is so much more work and the photos are not permanently attached so the details can be lost
