Ref Effers 'Caddis Fly Entry, you're right - it was a nice Entry and would have been a nice, perhaps slightly quirky, addition to the Guide.

However, she took extreme umbrage at some of the advice she was being given, and was extrewmely rude to several of us. She thought we were trying to change her Entry/style of writing etc etc. which, as you know yourself, is anything but the case!I once said explicitly that this is not what I (or anyone else, for that matter) was trying to do. She was free either take the advice on board or to leave it, but she appeared not to be able to understand that concept.

Her attitude was that her Entry was a 'work of art' and she had no intention of changing it one iota. As I say, that's something she's free to do - but why bother putting it in to PR in the first place? She may just as well have left it as an ordinary Guide Entry .

I think the reason she's deleted it and unssubscribed is that another Researcher, who probably didn't understand where Effers was coming from, rewrote the Entry on her behalf, thinking she was doing her a favour. But Effers regards it as a faite accompli polished work of art.

Well I am sorry that it all happened but no one who posted appeared to be anything but helpful, shame that was a nice entry.
