Morning Bob,
I'm sorry about that rather cryptic message last night - I logged in then my niece rang from London, we talked for about an hour, I left that message as a teaser. While I was waiting for your reply I dozed over to sleep.
I'm now on my way out to work, but here goes.....
The Siege of Derry .....
Longest siege in British History, major European war instigated at the behest of the Pope against the Catholic monarch, political intrigue, death and destruction with a happy ending.
You're so good at the detail and the period's about right to follow Cromwell. The outcome of the seige and subsequent battle did so much to shape UK today with religious freedom for all that I really think it's worthy of a guide entry - but I just don't have the knowledge or eye for detail .... you do.
Go on, you know you want to.

Yeah it's a tough one - that's why I'm not up to it. I thought you'd enjoy all the military tactics and alliances stuff.
Don't worry if you can't do it I'll get around to it myself some day that being the case.

Oh Bob you're wonderful.
How do you come up with them so quickly - that would have taken me almost as long as the seige to complete.
It's very well covered and it's one of my most remembered lessons of primary school. As kids we loved the way the defenders had to resort to eating rats 
and it being the longest seige in British history made it very romantic. You've done well young man and I was gripped to the end (even though I know what happened)
Your really are a talent. Well done.
