Christian Contemporary Music (CCM)
Christian Contemporary Music (CCM) is currently the fastest growing genre of music. There are musicians who are Christians (Cliff Richard is a prime example in the UK and Donna Summer in USA), and there are Christians who are musicians. What is the difference? Well the first lot earn their money from working as musicians whilst the second lot happen to believe that the music they play can be a powerful vehicle to put across their faith. Recently bands such as Delirious? World Wide Message Tribe and others have been playing across the UK and other countries to spread the news that Jesus Christ is alive and well and ready to change the lives of anyone who asks. Later, when time permits, I shall add several links to this page so that you can visit the websites of the CCM artists in question. Don't dismiss CCM - it has a rapidly growing following in the UK and there are radio stations such as UCB (United Christian Broadcasters) and festivals that are completely devoted to Christian Contemporary music.
