Back to my roots
Posted Sep 27, 2004
It was recently pointed out to me that this page was, to say the least, somewhat inaccurate, so here I am, after the a mere two years, updating this journal. (And if you think that's bad, I should perhaps point out that the last thing I edited for this site - Adelaide, Australia Driving Etiquette - is still pending after more than four years!)
Anyway, the previous post is still pretty accurate, bar the country of residence: I'm still alive, still kicking, but now living in the UK with my girlfriend. The scenery's far less spectacular, and the air less fresh, but I still have my nice office desk from Ikea, and there are considerably more options to purchase a Yorkie bar.
And now, I shall pop off once again for another ham croissant...

Not dead wood

The Dancing Tree is still alive, and still kicking (and perhaps still dancing) but now in an entirely different country. I'm now living with my girlfriend in Iceland, with spectacular scenery, fresh air, good food, a nice office desk from Ikea, and an almost total lack of Yorkie bars.
Odd to think that it’s been over a year since I last wandered onto the site, something now prompted by my girlfriend registering here. However, it was nice to see that the site hadn’t been destroyed by Vogons (or strange people from Basingstoke) in my absence.
Maybe there’ll be more later, but until then, this is the Dancing Tree signing off. Again.

"The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy is a wholly remarkable book. It has been compiled and recompiled many times and under many different editorships. It contains contributions from countless numbers of travellers and researchers."
