Too good to be true!
As a newcomer to using the internet, in general and h2g2, in particular I'm rather at a loss to know what to write.At the back of my mind is the warning that I shouldn't write personal details on the internet, so I guess I'll write about interests and concerns.First though, I must say that I am quite delighted to find this site. It promises to be really interesting and fun.(when I manage to find my way around , that is!) Well I have spent many years teaching young kids about their environment, so environmental concerns, particularly how we're destroying our planet, is one of my greatest concerns.Over the years I have also become more aware of the importance of an interest in politics, and the effect it has on our daily lives. On a lighter note, I love kids, animals, the outdoors- would love to be out walking in beautiful places, not dirty , smelly urban areas!I feel that if I weren't working, I would try to do more as a volunteer to relieve somewhere, somehow the terrible in-equalities which exist in today's society.
